Benafshenu - The Israeli Center for Mental Health & Social Support, Founded by Amcha (R.A.), was established to provide emotional, social and family care to a variety of populations living in the shadow of trauma - the spouses, close friends, siblings, managers and coworkers of direct victims, who hold everything together for others but are often left alone with their own pain.
For years, the association's therapists have worked with those caught in the ripple effect of trauma - families of reservists, wounded veterans, PTSD survivors, fallen soldiers and terror victims, and first responders - in view of the deep impact this kind of trauma has on the people closest to it. This work is performed maintaining the values of professionalism, availability, social responsibility and human dignity. We continue to treat patients in Benafshenu based on these values and the extensive knowledge accumulated over the years.
The professional and skilled team of Benafshenu includes psychologists, social workers - psychotherapists, art therapists and psychiatrists, all with a rich clinical experience backed by regular training and continuing clinical supervision.
The Benafshenu Association invites the general public who are dealing with emotional distress, trauma or life crises to use our services including counseling, mental health therapy, training for professionals and workshops in the relevant fields. The activity of the association takes place in branches located all around the country - from the north to the south.
